Juicy Couture, the fashion company that rose to fame on the back of Paris Hilton’s velour tracksuit uniform ten years ago, is pulling out of the UK despite the brand recently enjoying an ironic revival.
The company still has two UK stores on Regent Street and in Westfield White City, but it is understood the fashion brand will soon become available to British shoppers online only.
The move follows Gap’s decision to shut all its UK Banana Republic shops amid tough high street trading conditions.
Four years ago Juicy Couture was sold to Authentic Brands Group, a licensing company that owns the Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe estate, for $195m.
